NOSTRADAMUS is a Horizon Europe project focused on the use of data, digital tools and Earth Observation to support a more sustainable, resilient and competitive agricultural sector.
The project, whose full title is “Data Cube and Copernicus data for Food Security and European Independence”, aims to create a centralised agricultural Data Cube ecosystem and a set of open-source digital applications for modernising agricultural decision-making.
The project brings together Earth Observation data, IoT, agricultural data, advanced algorithms and cloud-based digital solutions to support better use of resources, improved yields, sustainable farming practices and evidence-based policy.
NOSTRADAMUS is coordinated by the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence and involves a consortium of 16 partners from 10 European countries, including universities, research organisations, SMEs and public-sector representatives.
Why this matters for the Data Hub
The NOSTRADAMUS EO Data Hub is one of the digital environments supporting the project’s data and application ecosystem.
Through the Data Hub, users will progressively access:
- agricultural and EO data discovery services;
- STAC-based metadata and data access;
- data visualisation services;
- notebooks and QGIS-based environments;
- application environments for analysis and validation;
- documentation and support material linked to project activities.
The NOSTRADAMUS EO Data Hub platform services are developed and operated by Terradue for the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence in the context of the NOSTRADAMUS project, Grant Agreement ID 101134888.
